Yes. As more courses become available, you are able to take as many as you like, all at once.

Since courses that have forever access tend to also sit on the “to do” list forever, you will have access to each course for six (6) months from the day you purchase it. We hope this gives plenty of time to complete each course, while also providing a little motivation to actually finish the training.

As a bonus to those who complete their course within 6 months, we will provide lifelong access to the course. Send us an email once you have received your certificate and we are able to provide you with lifelong access, including future updates.

No, there isn’t a hierarchy structure to the courses so you can take them in any order and progress through them as quickly or slowly as you like. Courses are available for 6 months from your enrolment date. They are all designed to be stand alone programs.

Our self-paced courses are available on-demand and you can start it any any time. There are no set enrollment times or starting dates.

Our live classes are run on a varying schedule – dates are indicated for live trainings.

No. When you have finished a course, you will be given a certificate of completion for your records stating you have completed that specific course. However, at this time, Allura Academy does not certify individuals to call themselves “Sex Therapists.”

The time required to complete each course differs. Course completion times range between 5 -10 hours per course depending on your pre-existing training, familiarity with the topic, and speed you which you read/consume the materials, among other factors.

Yes, all of our courses offer a CE Certificate at the end. The course requires you to complete a quiz to show completion and comprehension. Upon getting a grade of 80% of higher on the quiz and the completion of the evaluation, you will receive a digital certificate of completion for your records.

Yes. Allura Academy’s courses are accessible to mental health and health care practitioners from around the world through our online platform. However, programs are currently only offered in English.

However, we are proud to offer our courses in Canadian prices.

Allura Academy’s programs are designed to enhance existing training for mental health and healthcare professionals, such as counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, nurses, doctors, plus other complementary healthcare professionals. It is not designed for the general public. Students are required to already have certification, licensure and/or have current enrolment in, a training program for a helping profession prior to enrolment at Allura Academy. As part of registration, students will be required to attest to current enrolment in a certified training program, or indicate membership with a governing body that has ethical oversight / a code of ethics, that monitors your practice.

Our self-paced courses are currently fully self-guided; this allows you to integrate and learn at your own speed. No schedules to follow. This also means no live interaction with instructors.

Some programs offer an optional add-on consultation groups with experienced therapists and experts, this will be noted on the course itself.

Live classes do not generally provide one-on-one time with the instructor, but do provide opportunity for questions.

Each course differs slightly so see each course for specific details. However, the format is relatively consistent. Most courses include written content, video content, case studies, quizzes, downloadable worksheets (for both clients and practitioners) and interviews with specialists. Extensive resource lists will also be provided which would include such things as recommended readings for practitioners and clients (books, research etc), recommended videos, and applicable/helpful community programs.

In the Fall of 2024, Allura Sex Therapy Centre became the proud owner of The Westland Academy for Clinical Sex Therapy and our content has been merged together under one offering, Allura Sex Therapy Academy.
